To get to Marchihue from Santiago, you must take Ruta 5 Sur towards the south until the detour to San Fernando, then take Ruta 90 that leads to Santa Cruz and continue on Ruta 72.
The journey by car takes around 3 and a half hours.
It is also possible to take buses from Santiago de Chile that arrive directly at Marchihue in approximately 5 hours.
It is located in the Colchagua Valley and is characterized as an area of vineyards and wine production.
